This is a cover of magazine we designed with a lot going on. What you are looking at is embossing on the Closer logo with Metallic Gold ink overprinted. The electric chair was produced using a white ink. Yes there is such a thing as white ink… you're looking at it. To build more contrast on the electric chair we used some black ink in the shadow areas. The stock was a black cotton sheet from French Paper around 110#.
